Service to this city and working hard for our community has been central to my life in Boise: I’m running for Boise City Council to continue that story, and carry everything I’ve learned to that table.

My Priorities + Values

I had the good fortune to talk with thousands of residents in 2019 and one thing was crystal clear: Boiseans were worried about housing, about affordability, about the way our city is growing now and into the future. In the four years since, the City of Boise has made some great progress, but there’s so much yet to do.

As your Councilmember, my priorities include:

  • Ensuring that the Modern Zoning Code delivers, as planned, on affordability and executing modifications as needed to meet expectations

  • Preserving and investing in existing (or “naturally occurring”) affordable housing and ensuring that our most vulnerable residents (like seniors and those on a fixed income) can keep Boise as home

  • Recognizing that we can put less pressure on our roads, mitigate congestion and long commute times, and keep our air clean when people have the opportunity to live near where they work, shop, and learn

  • Continuing to invest in transportation options including pedestrian and bicycle connectivity, valley-wide mass transit, and a fiscally responsible road system

  • Protecting our natural resources, open spaces, water, and air with smart investments and conservation policy

  • Fighting for every Boisean’s access to equal and consistent city amenities including parks, transportation, connectivity, and emergency services.

I’m honored to have the support of so many organizations and individuals including…
